It’s still difficult to get around here due to the snow. Glad I was able to do all the shopping I needed to yesterday!

Great! Nick Gibb, Minister of State for Schools, loves maths!
At last, the end of the school term has arrived. What a busy and exciting few weeks! Just time to write my Blog before making my way through the snow (!!) to do some last minute Christmas shopping.
On 9 November had a meeting with Nick Gibb, Minister of State for Schools. Annette Brooke, our MP who organised the meeting, was very strong about not expecting to get any more than the allotted 30 minutes (“They’re very strict”) but the minister himself got so carried away that he overran by ten minutes! He said he loves maths! Great I thought!
